We, as women, have an incredible power within. Culturally, this has been denied. It has not been celebrated and often ignored, or even become a wound. It is, however, our secret power and compass. When we learn to connect to our cycle everyday it can become a mindful spiritual practice that guides us to our awakening. Let’s make ‘our cycle’ a normal part of the conversation.

During a session you will learn the following:
- About menstrual cycle awareness, what it is and why it is important.
- The 3 different inner maps; the 4 seasons (summer, autumn, winter, spring), the 2 vias and the 4 chambers of menstruation.*
- You will be guided on how to chart your cycle on a daily basis.
- Discover ways to awaken your divine feminine truth and wisdom, it’s always been there, it’s just about welcoming it home again and learning how to recognise it.
- Coached around aspects of your cycle that you find ‘difficult’ or have ‘challenges’ whether that is physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.
- Different techniques and practices, to work with difficult feelings and thoughts that arise.
- Self-care practices to support you through the ‘4 Principles of Wellbeing’.
- Yoga and meditation practices to support the journey which is unique to you.

Individual sessions can be either in person or via skype, zoom or phone. They are generally over a period of a few months and it is recommended to have 6 sessions. Initial ones too explore, what patterns are emerging or any self-limiting beliefs.
For example it is very common that in our ‘autumn phase’ (the pre-menstruum) many women can feel very ‘out of balance’, often more irritable and emotional. This is also the home of the ‘inner critic’ where we can often become critical towards ourselves and/or others. Learning and understanding about our own true nature is such a relief as with honest, authentic reflection we are able to meet all parts of ourselves. The expanded ‘likeable’ parts and also the gritty, dark, judgemental parts too. Transformation happens when we learn to accept all parts of ourselves.
I have been exploring basic cycle awareness since 1991 when I started my yoga practice. The depth of understanding has come through studying with Alexandra Pope and Sjane Hugo-Wurlitze from ‘The Red School’ (https://redschool.net). I completed the ‘Women's Quest Apprentice’ training in 2019.
These teachings, therefore have been shared by ‘The Red School’ and also thorough my own individual journey and insights.
