“True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.” — Aadil Palkhivala

A retreat is a wonderful way to take time out from ‘normal life’ and turn our awareness inwards. Life is so full and busy that withdrawing from all the processing allows us to stop, be with, unravel tension from our body, heart and mind and find our inner place of balance and stillness.

When we are not distracted by our usual life, we start to come back to our true nature remembering who we are. A retreat is a powerful way to create the space we need to listen to our bodies, hearts and minds for ultimate health and wellbeing.

‘Retreats include what I consider to be the sacred gifts for a nourishing day, that is, a safe lovingly held quiet space, surrounded by nature, relaxing guided yoga, breath awareness practices, meditation, deep resting, nature connection time, delicious shared food. Together with other good hearts and souls joining with a shared intension to connect and relax and of course really good homemade cake!’ - Suzy
