We will all experience anxiety at some point in our lives, this is a normal response to difficult circumstances, and mostly once things settle, we return to our baseline. However, if you find it difficult to manage your anxiety and feel anxious a lot of the time it can be exhausting, isolating and detrimental to your health and wellbeing.

I had lived with anxiety for years…. I know how it feels. It can be really challenging. Life is inevitably full of ups and downs, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed, creating more anxiety and stress, how we relate to them can make a difference of how in control we feel of our lives and whether we can be happy and contented. Challenging times with relationships, family, work, at home, health issues and transitions such as peri/post/menopause can increase unsettled feelings. You may feel that you have had anxiety for as long as you can remember and feel burdened by it.

Join this unique course created for women, by women, to support you feeling calmer and less anxious. This course is designed to support you managing, reducing and also hopefully eliminating unhealthy anxiety for good.

  • What anxiety is, why it happens and what to do about it.
  • Practices, techniques and ways to support you reducing anxiety, through the ‘4 Principles of Wellbeing’ NOURISH, MOVE, BREATHE, LOVE.
  • A life changing and life enhancing meditation, received through channelled wisdom, to support deeper connection to yourself, rebalancing your HPA axis and healing your adrenals, reducing anxiety.

The 6-week course is facilitated by Suzy Greenwood, who has decades of experience of supporting women with their health and wellbeing, especially their nervous systems, together with and other experienced health professionals.

In this course you will learn effective practices, techniques and ways to reduce anxiety, feel calmer and manage your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs

  • Week 1: Understand what anxiety is? Why do we have it? How it affects us? Learn the map of the ‘4 Principles of Wellbeing’ NOURISH, MOVE, BREATHE, LOVE with Suzy Greenwood.
  • Week 2: A brief introduction to the nervous system, common misunderstandings & mismanagement, the particular challenges (and opportunities) of the female system & how we can ‘get out of the way’ and help our system help us: ‘healing is an inside job’ with Dr Jean Carroll
  • Week 3: NOURISH; Supporting blood sugar, mood, energy, and anxiety levels. How to nourish and understand the connection between your gut, mouth, and brain. Supporting your heart, nervous system and adrenals with diet. Learn how a diverse, nutritious diet helps calm the body’s stress response and supports long-term resilience and feel confident choosing nourishing meals and snacks.
  • Week 4: MOVE; How, why and which appropriate movement, exercise and somatic practices support and regulate your nervous system with Suzy Greenwood
  • Week 5: BREATHE: How herbs support the NS, reduce anxiety, help the body cope with stress and manage blood sugar with Sara Rooney
  • Week 6: LOVE; How connecting to our hearts and evolving our consciousness, as our birthright, helps to awaken love, serenity, peace, happiness and joy to support you living your best life, with Suzy Greenwood

Suzy is passionate about supporting and empowering women’s health and wellbeing, she has had to learn how to manage and clear her own anxiety of many years. She works in clinics in East Sussex as a hands-on therapist and Somatic Wellbeing Coach, as well as offering regular Yoga classes and wellbeing retreats. She lives in the Ashdown Forest with her husband, daughter, dog and 2 cats, loves being in nature, or fireside with friends and creating delicious raw sugar free treats.

Dr Jean Carroll  PhD MSc BSc ACC DipPI

Having been touched by loss as a child, Jean developed a fascination with the causes of disease and the conditions that support healing and thriving. She began her career in the pharmaceutical industry, but after witnessing first-hand the limitations of the Western medical model, she turned to evidence-based holistic approaches to healing. She went on to earn a doctorate and publish research on how mismanaged stress affects the brain and, in turn, impacts long-term health. Today, she specialises in helping people recover from nervous system dysregulation — a root cause of many chronic health issues.

Jo Majithia Registered Nutritionist BA(Hons), DipION, BANT, CNHC

Jo has over 20 years of clinical experience, supporting women with their digestive, hormonal, and metabolic health. Specialising in making nutrition feel accessible and practical, empowering women to make informed choices that support both their physical health and emotional wellbeing  www.eat4wellbeing.co.uk

Jo is Head of Clinical Education at Regenerus Labs, a leading provider of functional diagnostic testing. There, she manages the education team and oversees the full educational programme, supporting practitioners with test selection, interpretation, and ongoing clinical learning. She also has a strong background in practitioner training and supervision through her years teaching at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.

When she’s not leading webinars or mentoring clinicians, Jo can often be found swimming in the Brighton sea, photographing seascapes, or trying to improve her padel tennis game. She’s married with two grown-up daughters and brings a warm, down-to-earth approach to nutrition education.

Sara Rooney Medical Herbalist, BSc. (Hons) Ba (Hons) NIMH

Sara initially studied Social Anthropology at the University of Sussex and became fascinated with the amazing healing powers of plants whilst working on a conservation project in the Amazon basin, Ecuador. She then completed a degree in Phytotherapy B.Sc. (Hons) and has also published research on women’s health in The International Journal of Herbal Medicine, Elsevier, and is a writer for the Herbal Academy in the US. She has run women's wellness retreats in the Uk, Spain and Portugal and is a consultant and formulator for Adaptogenic Apothecary.
